Chelation Therapy
H. Richard Casdorph, M.D., Ph.D. practices Internal Medicine and Cardiology in Long Beach, California at the Casdorph Clinic. He has published many professional papers in a variety of Medical Journals. He has co-authored a book with Dr. Morton Walker entitled the Toxic Metal Syndrome. Dr. Casdorph has a special interest in Preventative Medicine, Chelation Therapy and Anti-Aging Medicine.
CHELATION:
Consists of injections of an amino acid called ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA). When introduced into the body through an IV infusion, EDTA locks onto a prevalent mineral or metal floating in the bloodstream or brain fluids and passes out of the body, taking the mineral or metal with it. Diagnostic tests performed after chelation reveals that areas of impaired circulation are restored to normal.
Chelation therapy reduces muscular spasm of the artery that has caused blockage of blood flow. It also removes the blood stream's clogging material from the arterial wall. Such arterial clogging comes from deposits of junk material, such as fats, collagen, fibrin, cholesterol, foreign proteins and other assorted garbage that people eat. All of this clogging matter is held together by a body glue comprised mainly of calcium. EDTA removes the calcium so that no more binding glue remains to hold the junk together. It leaves the body as waste. A widened or unblocked, more flexible blood vessel passage is left behind.
Chelation therapy is safe when the protocol of the American College of Advancement in Medicine is followed. EDTA-chelation therapy has been used in the U.S. to relieve hardening of the arteries since 1952. Chelation therapy can help reverse atherosclerosis. It is useful for heart attack, stroke, and transient ischemic attacks.
For atherosclerosis:
lower your LDL cholesterol below 100 and you can lessen your risk of heart attack and death by at least 25%. Statin Drugs have side effects.
Natural supplement: Nicotinic Acid (Vitamin B3) Monitor with a physician. A safe dose seems to be 500 mg taken with food ( after evening meal is good).
TOXIC METALS:
Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, Aluminum
A hair analysis cab pick up toxic minerals. Toxic metal poisoning can cause symptoms such as headaches, diffuse aches and pains, depression
and chronic fatigue syndrome
Have mercury fillings removed!
HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE:
Peaks at age 20, then drops dramatically. Use secretagogues to release own HGH or use injections only to bring your level up to a normal level. Can help with testosterone level for men.
ANTI-ALZHEIMER'S DIET:
Low fat, Low cholesterol. Eat lots of EFAs in tuna, salmon, halibut & sardines. Also use supplemental EFAs. These improve cognitive function and memory.
Cordially,
Helen Pensanti M.D.
