Diseases Do Not Just Happen
Dr. Lorraine Day is an orthopedic trauma surgeon and was on the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine for 15 years. Dr. Day was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and had a lumpectomy of a small tumor. But the tumor soon recurred, became very aggressive and grew rapidly. Dr. Day rejected standard therapies because of their destructive side effects. She chose instead to rebuild her immune system using the natural therapies that she considered "designed by God". Dr. Day credits this natural plan as the tool that helped her defeat cancer. She believes that this plan can help people get well from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus and Parkinson's disease.
Drugs don't cure disease, they only treat symptoms.
To get rid of disease, you must know the cause.
Most common causes of disease:
MALNUTRITION (POOR DIET), DEHYDRATION, STRESS MALNUTRITION:
Comes from not eating vitamins, minerals & enzymes in natural form. Need grains, fruits, vegetables, esp. complex carbohydrates like brown rice, yams. Vegetarians have a decreased incidence of all diseases. It takes 3 days for meat to get through our digestive tract, we absorb the toxins. Try soy products.
STRESS:
Releases cortisol which has an adverse affect on the body to function as it should. Need to slow down. Pray. Spend an hour per day with the Lord.
DEHYDRATION:
Our bodies need water. Caffeine is a diuretic. We lose 10 glasses per day of water due to breathing, digestion, perspiration. This dehydration causes cellular damage one day at a time.
BASIC PLAN FOR HEALTH
This plan is good for most diseases, especially heart disease and adult-onset diabetes
Eat food in it's natural state:
Our diets contain too much fat; too much protein. Get toxins out of your body by switching to a more vegetarian diet.
Cooking food kills enzymes.
To produce enough of the enzymes you need, your body has to do the equivalent of 8 hours of hard labor. This produces FATIGUE!

Sunlight:
We need to get sunlight, fresh air, outdoor air. Sunlight helps lower cholesterol because cholesterol in a precursor to Vitamin D. It also boosts the immune system, helps lower blood pressure and decreases anxiety. (Eating poorly eliminates our protection against the sun's damaging rays.)
Exercise:
Exercise lowers stress levels
Juvenile onset diabetes:
May be related to cow's milk. You are bringing a foreign animal protein into the body which is similar to the protein we have that produces insulin. The body produces an antibody to the protein in the cow's milk which affects the pancreas.
Osteoporosis:
May be caused by too much animal protein in the diet which produces acid and leaches calcium out of the bones in order to neutralize this acid.
SAMPLE DIET BREAKFAST:
Oatmeal, 1/2 tsp honey, fruit
LUNCH:
Baked potato or yam, brown rice or grain, vegetables
DINNER:
Rice & nut or tofu casserole
