WHAT IS OLD AGE ANYWAY?

For most people, the number of birthdays is equivalent to their perception of being old and infirm. The graying of the hair, the wrinkling of the skin, is looked on as normal and inevitable. Though some signs of aging are inevitable, much of what we accept as normal aches and pains or old age maladies could be avoided by the increase of H A in our bodies.

A rare tragic disease called Progeria (which means "premature aging") gives us new understanding of what aging truly is. Progeria is a disease where small children appear as if they are very old. Their skin sags, their hair falls out, they develop cataracts, and they don't live long.

Doctors diagnose this disease by measuring the amount of H A excreted in the urine. Progeria kids excrete 17 times more H A in their urine than healthy children.

The lesson is clear. The loss of H A is equivalent to aging, not the number of birthdays.

WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?

H A is a form of connective tissue that gives substance and form to your body. H A binds salt and water and expands the space surrounding cells.

One researcher asserts that chronic dehydration is the cause of many maladies, including asthma, allergies, high blood pressure, arthritis, angina, diabetes and ulcers.

Chrondroitin sulfate helps to stimulate the production of H A in our bodies and can be taken in mg. form. This combined with enough water can be a powerful aid in our fight against aging.
