This includes birth control pills as well as synthetic estrogens and progestins. They have been found to cause breast and uterine cancer. A recent study from UCLA has shown that women using synthetic estrogens are at a higher risk of heart attack.

Natural hormones absorb beautifully thru the skin (transdermally). Oral hormones are also o.k. to use if they are natural.

Breast cancer seems to be preceded by Estrogen Dominance. Use natural progesterone to protect against breast cancer. It is also good for PMS and fibrocystic breast disease.

Progesterone has a natural sedating effect as it attaches to the GABA receptors. It is therefore good for anyone having anxiety problems.

Progesterone is also good for anyone with an insulin-regulation problem.

MEN:

Progesterone will benefit men with prostate problems, high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Infertility:

A woman may not be making the necessary progesterone at the right time of the month. Supplemental progesterone will help.

Headaches, especially migraines, are often related to progesterone deficiency.

For menopausal women with vaginal dryness, hot flashes, or night sweats

Use a natural hormone that contains some phyto-estrogen as well as progesterone. Estriol cream used on the face enhances and improves the look of a woman's skin.
