RECIPES FOR A HOLIDAY MEAL:Lassie: Boil milk. Use whole milk (Raw milk is good) Cool slightly. Skim off the fat. Add live culture (Obtainable at Indian restaurants) Cover overnight with bath towels. Strain in the morning. (Removes sugar). It will be thick. Contains protein of the milk (Calcium) and good bacteria. Optional: Add cane sugar; flax seeds and honey, or fruit Shitake Mushrooms: Put mushrooms in a mixture of water and good olive oil. Simmer for 35 minutes & drain. Add small amount of Danish bleu cheese Organic Turkey or Chicken: Bake at 225 degrees covered with a cheesecloth soaked in oil. Whole Grain Rice: Use Basmati rice. Add mushrooms & cheese for flavor Also serve homemade Cranberry sauce & Green beans Dessert: Lime Gelatin with Cranberries or fruit
